Patient Experience: What Matters Most
Lead researcher: Nadine Metzger
Listening to patients’ perspectives is an important part in improving overall care. To understand where to start, we need to ask what matters most to patients, and then take the findings directly to people who can change things.
Point began collaboration with DHB’s and private providers to capture the areas of patient experience most important to patients and their whānau and families in 2011. The results were used in regular infographic-style reports which resulted in significant quality improvements.
